Who is willing to admit their missed shine moment? Most of the time we will somehow adjust our situation to face the fact. Yes, that is an evil ego behavior dominating our mind especially when we are in the weakest link.
Just watched the Miss Universe 2010 pageant, Venus Raj took her turn at the question and answer portion, and Miss Philippines 2010 answer was a shocker. She was asked if there was anything she had ever done wrong in her life and if so, what had she done to fix it. She replied that in 22 years, she had never done anything majorly wrong, thank to the love of her family. Well, in matter of fact there are some blur issues on her participating as she actually born in Doha, Qatar. How could she represent Philippine simply because her mom is Philippine's? That's call dis-honest.
In fact, many smart people can't even gave an honest and straight answer when question asked. It happened to Politician and news anchors most of the time where we witness and laugh about it. Sometime we also react this way without realize. Guess this is a challenge of ego and it will a price to pay.
