The stupidity of twitter nation!

If you simply asked anyone on the street and I bet you that he/she has an twitter account. Also like other social media MySpace or FaceBook. Though people tend to share too much personal info on the social network even to other that he/she didn't know. That's a shame!

Of course, the celebrities use this opportunity to stay close with his/her fans in the good way but seriously they share too much crap.

• Who care if you going out for dinner
• Who care if you just got a pedicure
• Watching movies in spandex

Some of them even retweet to share what ever their sons said and blah blah! Why people have so much time to do all these crap?

Great BBQ place - Sam's Bar-B-Que

We were driving around in the lazy Saturday evening in the rain looking for food while love is testing his Nexus One. And we found Sam's Bar-B-Que 'http://www.samsbbq.com/’ somewhere S. Bascom San Jose. This restaurant looks unique with old days BBQ decoration with the little train going around the top of the restaurant and yet modern. There are many pictures from their fellow customers who worn their Sam's T-shirt traveled everywhere. They also have outdoor seating. And live music on Tuesday and Wednesday night.

We decided to order ToGo instead and we ordered Carolina Sandwich, leg & tight and Sam's sampler. OMG! Everything that we ordered were just great. I tried a bit of the pulled pork sandwich hmm yummy the pork was so juicy. The leg & tight was great too. The hot link, garlic bread, colelaw, potatoes salad, biscuit were awesome. We truly enjoy the dinner and with no regret as I didn't do the cooking. This restaurant is now on our list that we will go back.

Envy to be 'Mom'

As we are waiting to be seated at the Cheese Cake Factory restaurant and I notice there were kids running around. Also, some of them whining for attention as they were uneasy for the wait. Gees, these kids look adorable especially they gear up with their cool outfit and the tiny shoes. Of course, the beautiful baby blue eyes, blonde curly hair and etc. That lead me to pause and think how perfect and complete for those family with kid and children are!

Guess it is every girl dream to be Mom someday and perhaps sometime soon and I will be a 'Mom' too.

Full time work + evening classes =Tired & exhausted!

Yes! This is what I am dealing with lately! With my full time work routing and also attending the evening classes since Winter semester began on 01/04. My routing change significantly though from leave home round 5.30am in the morning to work then leave work by 4pm towards school and make it home by 8.30pm. After a short rest and cuddle on the couch with my love then eat something light then straight to bed.

This is the 2nd week since the school began and I already completed the assignments for chapter 4 however I still have not start the other course yet :( though I need to get that started soon though to avoid behind.

Not sure why I signed up for the 2 courses to kill myself like this!

7.0 Magnitude earthquake hit Haiti

OMG! a massive 7.0 magnitude earthquake struck Haiti near the capital of Port Au Prince today. The damage to to buildings is extensive and the number of injured or dead is estimated to be in the thousands, even millions.

It will be wonderful if everyone just donate a dollar to help them!

CES 2010

Once again the tech industry is gearing up for January's Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in the Sin City, Las Vegas! The show is held from 7th to 10th January. It is also a chance for musician and actor, actress come together to promote the latest and greatest products of the year. New products includes 3D HDTV, Blu Ray, Tablets and etc. In fact, Toshiba shows their 130" plat panel eh. It's amazing!

My hubby already in LAS since 01/07 for the show and hectic days ahead to meet with companies.

Bad and Sad day!

Woke up hungry stomach! This is because I threw up non-stop last night. However, I felt better this morning and made it to work.

Then around 10am we felt shaking and fellow co-worker are betting $ on how many magnitude quake was! The earthquake hit Livermore with 4.1 magnitude. What a shame they are really serious about the betting. The sad thing was I notice the loser who struggling pay the $ to the winner though

Notice there is an alert in my mail box and it was from carriyingbridge about Kate updates. She got sudden MRI scan today. Unfortunately, there was still residual tumor there. It is sad :( I do not know her nor their family but after I got to know their story from Dr.Phil show. She seems like related to me. I got teary eyes each time I read her updates and yet the 6years old girl standing strong for the fight. There are many prayers around the world are praying hard for her. May God heal her from the pain and protect her from all the harm. Let's us pray, O Lord please hear our prayer!

A delicious dark chocolate cherry fondue

In deed, this is best and delicious dark chocolate cherry fondue that we made ever :). Thought this will be the last celebration before we get back to our routine and resolutions for the New Year. Thus we decided to do something fun thus we makes dark chocolate cherry fondue. OMG! it's so very good.

Here's the recipes:-

Ingredients:
12 Oz. dark chocolate, finely chopped
¼ C heavy cream
3 Tbsp cherry liqueur - Any preferred fruits flavor 'Orange, Raspberry, Cherry, Strawberry'

Preparation:
Combine the chocolate and cream in the top of a double boiler set over simmering water. Heat until the chocolate is melted, stirring constantly; or combine the chocolate and cream in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave until melted, stirring every 30 to 45 seconds. Be careful not to let the chocolate burn. Pour into a warm fondue pot. Drizzle with the liqueur. Keep fondue warm over low heat.

Recommended dipping accompaniments: Rice crispy treats, pound cake, brownie bites, strawberries, raspberries, bananas, cheesecake, marshmallows, graham crackers, biscotti, ice-cream and etc.

My 2K10 Resolutions!

Then we are in the 3rd day of 2010. The serious eating and long holidays weekend are now heading to a stop sign. Tomorrow will be a brand new work week for everyone as well as students. As once again the school will be open for winter semester.

Yea! I am one of them back to work and school tomorrow. Let's 2K10 be great and awesome. I'm looking forward for the New Year resolutions are :-

2. Do more cooking at home
3. Concentrate on study

Now, we are in brand new chapter of the year 2010! This will be the 1st blank page of 365 pages of the book to go and may the good author prevail!

Well, I woke up around 8am+ as I slept almost 12hours after struggling threw up pain yesterday. Then we are heading for a good breakfast to start of the New Year day. OMG! the waffle with blueberry compote is just great. As for my love and he ordered the hearty meal. This is a good start of the year.
