It’s New Year Eve

There are so many ways for New Year eve celebration. Some of them will drive to down town and yell when the clock hit 12mid night. Parties, Married just name a few..but our celebration for New Year Eve a little bit different because l wasn’t feel good and guess what both of us in bed by 8.30pm.

Outrage with her bad decision!

It was hurtful and sad to know this happened again. Obviously, people makes mistake but we will learned from there and improve ourselve for better. But I am so tired and sick with her never ending bad decision.

Though l must said she is a hard worker but just not smart enough to figure out her wrong path. Even hired a maid for her man and travel weekly about 16 hour round trip to meet her mystery man for weekend but let her 90+ years old mom home alone. Is she retarted to let him suck all her $ and relationship! OMG!

It happened that last weekend her mom was found unconscious at home. Thank God their relative drop by and discovered otherwise it will be too late.
I will include my nightly prayer to this old lady to be stronger and healthier. Perhaps her daughter may soon redeem herself and wake up from the gray/stupidities zone.

Let's to be clear if this mystery man is man enough and he should/could visit her instead rather then she always got to travel there and act like a man. Duh!!!

The pain of my bank to bank transfer!

OMG! I can’t believe that I am still dealing with the bank to bank transfer as of today 12/28. It took exactly two weeks to complete the transaction within America. I set up the transfer from my BOA on 12/15 to HSBC and it doesn’t show the transaction until 12/27. However, my BOA account shown it delivered on 12/19.

When I question BOA customer service and l was told due to heavy mailing and ya da ya da might cause the delay of the transaction as they mail the check to HSBC. Oh my! Are we still in stone century? I seriously don’t understand why the hell that BOA still use mailing system rather then electronic transfer? Just wonder where are those smart people in this bank!

After this incident and l will definitely consider to look for another reliable/smarter bank because BOA fucked up big time in my record. It is very frustrating as causing late on delivery my annual gift to mom. Now, will need to deal with HSBC for the wire transfer to overseas. Perhaps it takes another 3days.

My top 10 most fascinating incidents in 2008

Time flies and we are going to wrap up the bad and ugly 2008. Thank God! Looking back and here's are the 10 most fascinating incidents of the year.

1. Outrage with my co-worker as one of them called me @ 4am and left voice simply because he is sick and unable to work!

6. The uncertain stock markets made my portfolio amount dropped significantly.

10. Allergy skin test and I am in deed allergy to dust, grasses, weeds and trees

Penang Prawn Noodle or Har Mee

No doubt Prawn Noodle or Hokkien Mee is well known in Penang. In fact, you can find it every street corner. The richness of the shrimp stock and spiciness of the chili paste just makes the “prawn noodle” taste great.

However, you might notice some customer will have their interesting preference either more of this and none of that. And I wants my to add more ’sambal’ for sure. I will definately will not miss this on my next trip back to Penang.

Well, I found the instant noodle on our last trip @ the grocery store there and it taste pretty good though…

Christmas 2008

It’s Christmas day! Both of us are off for the long holidays weekend. Just love the quality time together. Gave him my 1st kiss when the clock hit 12mid night. Then we both open our gifts ah it just great.

However, this is the crunching time and I didn’t order any custom print candy this year to my fellow co-worker though…Oh well!

Allergy skin test.

I got my allergy skin test this morning as battling cough and itching eyes for months. However, I am glad that my love accompany me to the hospital that makes me feel better and secure. Of course, I feel irritated during the test as my skin got to itching and reddish and I can’t do anything.

After 20mins the doctor gave us the explaination about the result. Ha ha I am actually allergies to dust, grasses, weeds and trees. Oh boy…

It’s the first day of winter

Today is the 1st day of winter. It seems like this is going to be the chilling one since fall temperature got significant changed. With that means we are a step closer to Christmas to celebration and 4 days en-counting to the exact! I bet Holiday Stress is attacking most of the people.

However, I really hope those homeless have place to keep them warm and place to sleep. My thought and prayer go to them and hopefully they are going stand on their own.
My advise to all is to bundle up everyone is cold outside.

Snowfall in California!

California well known as has the best weather among the States of America. The temperature just pleasant and nice however this fall is a bit different. It’s snow last night! Pale of snow are on the everywhere on the street. Although is cold but everyone is very cheer on this special gift.
In needs, it is a very cold temperature especially at night and it drop until 30 degrees. The heather is our BFF.

Looks like we are going to have white Christmas.

Gees, what kind of humane is that to treat their visitor that way? Come on people and wake up!

We are towards healthy way…

Yes, in deed both of us are began to realized that we should and got to step up for the ‘Healthy way’. Especially the balancing meals such as low carb, protein and greens is a must for every meal.

I hate to critic people but I got to on this one. Because I found this person is very ‘low’ to keeps bring his help over and over again.

Understood,this ex-coworker he who helped me before and I really appreciated his warm help when I first came to America. After years and it just happened that we are now work together but in different compnay. Of course, his as a Freight Forwarder and will need to supply info to me. And when ever he have difficuilty to supply info to me and he use he low tactic such as bring up the past help to remind me. Come on!

Gees, If this person is man enough and he will not use the ‘LOW’ tactic to press me this way. I am going to tell him off if he use this tactic again.

a. Komtar – This is an important landmark houses Government departments, commercial officers, department stores, shops and restaurants and it has 65 floors.
b. Penang Bridge - One of the longest bridge’s in Asia. Penang Bridge was built in1985 and has the length of 13.5km long. It connects Seberang Prai on the mainland to Gelugor on the island. This is another alternative for the commuters.
c. Batu Ferringi – This is a very popular resort spot in Penang. This stretch of beachfront is famous for its beautiful beaches of golden sands, deep blue sea and, of course, resorts.
d. Queens Bay Mall – The largest shopping mall of northern region of Malaysia with a gross built up of 2.5 million sq. ft. There are about 500 shop lots there, most importantly Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf and Starbuck’s.

Holidays Stress

I guess most of the people are stress on Season Holidays although this it is our favorite time of the year. Gees, I totally agreed with it because there are so many things to do and so little time. I am particularly stress on picking the dress and to maintain the weight in order to fit on the pretty dress. Man it just tough!

However, well planing play an important role :))

Season Holiday is now officially kicked off

This for you and that’s for her! That’s right the smell of spices from kitchen and delicious eggnog will drive us to Seasons Holidays mood. And it officially kicked off the day after Thanksgiving.
Most of the Santa stucked in North Pole due to the economy crisis however one thing every consumer may cheer of is the gasoline price that we granted now :))

The bittersweet of 29th November 2008

It began around 12.30am mid night. My love told me that he doesn’t feel well as chest pain. With the nervous and worrying we made it to ER @ Kaiser. They took care of my love as soon as possible and also made us as comfortable as we could and they even offer warm blanket to us and etc.

Due to love drank soda which content of ‘cafe’ early evening thus they can’t ran the test and would like us to stay until the next morning. Well, due to the holiday weekend and the worker who will work on the test will be available on the afternoon hour only. Oh well, there is nothing much we can do but just wait and in the same time let my love get some rest. There is a TV there but l have no mood to watch neither but l pray to God and let us get thru this quicker and l promise l will do more cooking at home rather then pickup meal from outside.

Guess what my love passed the test and the result shows that his heart is healthy but do need to watch the sugar level as they found a little sweet on his blood accordingly to Dr. Young. Wow! A warm hug to my love and the tear of joy dripping my face and Thank God we got the great news and we will definately be very careful and eat more green and less sugar. Not forgetting to do our Wii Fit exercise.

Seriously, l don’t mind the sleepless night and the 16hours in ER but it all good now. It’s definately a wakeup call for both of us and Thank God the Kaiser team are so efficient and they deserved the compliment from me. That’s the bittersweet of 29th November 2008.

Black Friday 2008 Disaster

Crazy Deal! Black Friday Deal! is the traditional deal after Thanksgiving day. Where most of retail store will have the real deal up to 70% or more for kick off the Season Holidays shopping. However, this year it took at least 3 lives. One of the incident happened at Wal-Mart in New York City and the worker was knocked down by the mob and killed and a pregnant woman was sent to hospital for observation. There are shooting incident happened in California due to argument in Toys ‘R’ us Inc and lost 2 lives. Gees, I don’t understand why people bring gun to toy store!

What a shame to occurred such an incident. But one thing for sure we can see the bad people behavior causing this disaster. Seriously, it just doesn’t worth it after all!

Thanksgiving 2008

There are so many things for us to Thankful on the year 2008. This is because we are still here safe and sounds. With the uncertain economy lead us to really need to watch our spending which is sux. Not forgetting the disaster hit around the globe in May ‘08 the Cyclone hit Myanmar, Earthquake hit China and also wildfire burnt about 3,200 arces in Santa Cruz in California. All these unfortunate happened definitely change people lives especially the victim family and our thought and prayers goes to them.

Enjoy home confirm food is the traditional way in American in 21st Century and of course the Turkey and pumpkin pie are the two main things to have in this occasion. Since we have the small family and only two of us at home thus we did not get the whole turkey but l got the ready make turkey breast with corn bread stuffing and spinach ravioli with pamersan chicken ball with alfredo sauce ah that’s delicious.

Of course, I did not forget the main purpose of ‘Thanksgiving’. I can’t get enough to express my sincere Thanks to my hero. He is the one who brought me today and lead me to top. I am grateful to found my true love and his support and makes me feel so secure and safe. Thank you love for adding me to your life.

Oh man and I just can’t tolerate with this twits any longer. Both keeps chatting and talk about they family ordeal and too bad I caught in the middle who sit between them. I don’t mean to listen but they are just too loud.

Who’s care about their family matters but I just don’t understand why he/she will tell others their family un-function matter and after the updates then both laugh! Is this normal? Gees, I will consider them as a moron 101.

Way to go Carrie Underwood! She is the most succesful American Idol in the business. Anyway, I stuck in Country music last year when I accidentally tune in country channel and l am stuck on it ever since. Of course, huge fan with 95.7 The Wolf! aw hooo…

Glad to watch the 42nd CMA Awards air by ABC7.com from Nashville and it host by Brad Paisley and the sweetie Carrie Underwood.

Though George Straits surposses record for most trophies in CMA Awards history with 22 at the 42nd Annual CMA Awards, both Brad Paisley and Sugarland’s Jennifer Netteles each win two on “Country Music” biggest night. Glad to watch The Eagles performing their new hits ‘Busy being fabulous’ and Taylor Swift performing ‘Love Story’ wow that’s wonderful.

Craving for Penang food already!

Gees, I can’t believed we just came back from Penang about 3days now. So to speak we are still in the recovery to the local time zone but I began craving for the local food already. The food there are just yummy especially with the reasonable price. I wish l eat more during our visit though

The Char Koah Teow is to die for and it just delicious, the curry chicken just a killer and of course the famous roti chanai ah it just great.

Seriously, I am so looking forward for our next trip and l definately eat as much as food as l can such as curry mee, hokkien mee, laksa, tau hwa, pasumbur, nasi kandar and many more.

Our Penang Trip - Day 8 that we heading back to USA.

It’s 4.45am and our cell alarm is beeping and we knew its time to get ready for check out and heading to airport.

Although I am very excited to heading back to US however I feel sad to leave though. After all it is my home town and my root. But I understood its just visiting and we can always come back next time.

Thank God its only took 21hrs on the flight time where it took 28hrs to Penang uhg. Yes and I smell the greatness of California and the land of freedom. Glad we have another day/Sunday for relaxing. It definately took more time to adjust to local time because we are still in 15hrs ahead time zone.

After un-packed and bath we both straight to bed. I knew is too short to Asia in 7days but we spent it well. Looking forward on our next trip next.

Our Penang Trip - Day 7 last day of the trip

Day 7 and also our last day here on this trip. Sister/Evelyn planned to take us around for sign seeing and the most important to taste the Penang famous foods. Though that will only happened after 2pm her kids are in the morning school.

Again, we ate our breaksfast at Queensbay in the morning. Open an account at the HSBC bank so that I can link my US account for wire transfer.

Yes, we noticed the Toyota Avanza is heading to our hotel lobby. We stopped by a place called ‘New World’ to taste all the yummy foods. Wow those foods are great and l wish I have bigger stomach or have more time there. Also, visited the little India, Penang pier and sleeping Buddha. Due to the gusty wind and rain thus we heading back to hotel.

We had dinner together with my sister’s family and Mom. They are so nice even brought our favorite food with them ‘Satay’ for us. The meal ir just delicious and of course, my love enjoy it as well.

We do “Thanks & hugs” each one of them for their time and warm hospitalities. Remind Mom to take her vitamins on time. Noticed Mom sad to let us go but I promised to her next time I will spent more time there. Then we heading to gasoline station to fill up the tank so that we will return the rental car.

Anyway, My sister suggest to me that how about invest a house there. It will be nice we can be neighbor! We both liked the ideal and she is looking around.

Our Penang Trip - Day 6

We had breakfast @ Queensbay then heading to Sun Shine Square for little shopping. My love is so carrying and picked up the Ensure milk powder for mom. We do pick up some local snacks and crackers just to try it.

Met my BFF for lunch at Pizza Hut. And it also Mayble BD anyway gave her the BD gift and we chat for a while they both still look the same though. We definately have a great time. Unfortunately, the pizza is very salty even without bacon anyway after we meet and we heading to sister home to pickup Mom so that we will go to Balik Pulau together.

Gave a list of the name to brother for him to pick for his un-born baby. Mom picked up the durian cakes from her contact that is for my love co-worker. Also, stop by Granny home just to let her know that we will back to USA in 2days.

Drop off Mom and sister home and then we heading back to hotel for resting. Man and l just dislike the weather there.

Our Penang Trip - Day 5

Since my sister and brother in-law are working today thus we will just tour around ourselves. Had breakfast @ Queensbay then we heading to down town as love wants to check on the new arrival of the camera.

Well, I notice lots of non-behave drivers. Parked at the curb and even ran over traffic lights uhg that’s annoying. Stopped by Pelangi Mall which located next to Komtar the tallest building in Penang. Ah this is another mall that the management did not maintain well. Its look dirty and dark inside. Guess what the air condition in Starbucks doesn’t work. That’s sux.

However, I picked up the chicken and pork jerky for love to try. It definately looks new to him because there are only beef and turkey jerky in USA. I am glad he liked it. A little dissapoited as we can’t find the camera store. Thus we heading back to hotel but we saw the camera store while we are on our way back uhg

Get back to the hotel for the short rest follow by dinner with brother. It took about 20mins drive to that restaurant but the foods were yummy. There are many aquariums for live shrimps, fishes, crabs and many more. Of course, it may attract kids attention and allow the adult enjoy their meal peacefully. Perfect meal especially with a bottles of wine and beers.
Get back to hotel and from the news we know that Obama won.

Our Penang Trip - Day 4

Yep, our plan on day 4 is to visit my aunt/uncle (Mom’s side) which located across the Penang Bridge. But will only heading after 2pm as my brother in-law get off from work @ 1.30pm and my nephew in the morning school too. That’s at least we don’t have to rush and havde a slow morning just to kick back and relax.

Went to Queensbay for breakfast @ Coffee Beans and also shop around. Its around noon time thus we are heading back to hotel as need to prep for the afternoon plan. However, we stopped by the Gourment Kitchen for lunch which famous for Hainan Chicken rice. Wow Wow Wow! that’s the real Hainan Chicken rice that I am talking about. It just delicious with reasonable price.

My sister’s van came by and picked us up and we heading to uncle’s house. Along the way we notice Penang Bridge is expanding and still under construction.

Man the weather is just ‘HOT’ and humid there. It’s about 100 degree there though. However, the warm hospitalities just cool us down. I am sure Mom is very happy with this trip as I’ve not been there seven years ago. They show us around the little town called ‘Bukit Tambun’ and dock as well. And the yummy seafood those includes shrimps, crabs, clams, fish and many more. Though l am surprise there is no green or salad there eh

Anyway, we got a good time there…Thanks for the treat!

Our Penang Trip - Day 3

Our schedule today a little tight as we were invited to Granny house for lunch, plan to celebrate BD for my although a day earlier and we were invited to dinner with my sister and family.

Woke up in the morning and with the expertise of GPS and daring of my love. We made it to the new mall which all ‘Queensbay Mall’ it open since Dec 2006 and it is the largest shopping mall of the northern region lof Malaysia. Man we found the right place because there are Coffee Beans, Starbucks there. Noticed there are many chain business there as well such as TGIF’s & Chilli’s restaurant, Papa Bear’s cream puff, GAP, GUESS and many more. The most important is the air condition is running well. However, l am not sure why there are many security gaurd there with cowboy hat? Oh well…

Picked up a BD cake for my brother and they heading to sister house ro pick them up so that we will heading to Granny home together! However, we have brother cut his BD cake first just a little celebration. They absolutely surprise and touch. Of course, Granny’s lunch was great and we enjoy it very much. Then we heading back to hotel for short rest.

Went to Ocean Palace for dinner! OMG the food is just delicious and reasonable price. We enjoy each bite of the food there. But again a little challenge as there do not have diet soda lol.

Our Penang Trip - Day 2

As plan we get to Mom home early morning to meet my sister so that we will then go to cemetery together with them. Well, today is All-soul day’s and also happened on Sunday thus it more crowded and it just hard to find parking.

My sister is so organized and prep all the things from the water, fresh flowers to plastics flowers. And she even brought Dad’s favorite food. Ha ha it certainly a bit off for traditional catholic because it suppose to light the candle and prayer only. But hey who care and l am sure Dad’s is very please to see each one of us are there to pay respect even Mom is there too.
We also light candles for Granpa as well. Follow by heading back home and it a customs that we need to wash our hand with flowers water before we get into the house.

Picked up breakfast siuch as Char Koah Teow and Roti Chanai! Yep, it definately different compare to western breakfast. We ate the breakfast at home however my annoying cough just bothering me much. After the breakfast we are heading back to hotel for a short rest.

Around 2pm my sister’s family and mom meet us at the hotel then guide us to local tour at Batu Ferringi where tourism spot as the hotels along the beach. We stopped by Bay-View hotel for relax and enjoy the the view. Also treat Mom and sister/Evelyn for the foot massage. Ha ha both of them felt embarras at first but they enjoy it later which is good.

Stopped by Gurney Plaza for shopping and hang up at Coffee Beans. Yep, love is getting his favorite dark chocolate cherry ice blended. Glad to see each of them enjoy the ice blended in different flavor. We ate dinner at the restaurant somewhere Macclister road.

Wow! we spent the day well “YES”

Our Penang trip - Day 1

Thank God we managed to take a nap and woke up the next morning but still unable to recover our sleepless night. We heading to McDonald’s for breakfast not too far from our hotel. Guess what their breakfast hour is from 9am thru 11am and only open for business at 9am lol. Of course, no bacon though and as most of food are ‘Halal’ however they do have porridge with the sign shown local demand. Anyway, l notice that BJ Mall is getting crappy because the management did not maintain well.

Then we made a surprised visit to my sister home with their gifts. Of course, hang round there for a while then we towards Mom home in Balik Pulau located over the hill.

Wow my home town definately look different because there so many shop lots across the street and also there are traffic lights eveywhere. This is much better for sure but l still prefer my California life style! My bother got to 2 childrens now. Jeff/2years old and baby Jared of 9months old. Glad to see the house is clean as they also have Indonesian maid contract in house.
Mom prep lunch for us and the food that she cooked just great. Unfortunately, they they don’t have diet soda but beers thus we just drink that instead. The diet soda that call it as ‘Light’ instead of diet oh well

Pay a visit to Granny house and gave her the throw that she asked for. Hopefully it will keep her warm at night. Uhg she looks weak and lost weight too…
Then we swing by my aunt Lucy home too. And my aunt son-in law who from Utah also in town and hey it just perfect for my love because they can chat better without language barrier. Guess what, we notice there is a 7-Eleven store there and we stop by there and picked up a few bottles of Pepsi light. Though I still miss the diet Mountain-Dew.

Went to Church to picked up a bouquet of flowers for the next day prayer and also gave some donation. Then we are heading back to hotel. Uhg it is a long day especially with the humid environment. But we spent the day well as managed to covered lots of things.

A short trip to my home town Penang!

Both of us took a short trip back to Penang, Malaysia for a special occasion as Dad 1st year in ‘All-Souls’ day. Goes it took 28hrs from SFO to PEN and trust me it absolutely painful to deal with the long flight. Luckily my love is next to me and l can lean on his shoulder.

I am so please to see my sister and family as they are at the arrival hall waiting for us. After we got our rental car then they guide us to the hotel. Yuck, we can feel the warm and humid weather especially the air condition of the rental car wasn’t function well. I am very proud of my love to drive after a long flight even the driving wheel is on the right side and also the non behave scooters.

Glad to arrive at the hotel safe and we will take shower then straight to bed hopefully we able to take a nap as we are still in different time zone.

Bad people behavior.

That’s right bad people behavior can be notice where, place and time! We were craving food from CheeseCake Factory and notice ‘Bad people behavior’ in just a few minutes. Ah that’s drives me to the edge.

I notice the customers those are waiting to be seated are standing in middle of the entrance. And some of them even are chatting on ‘ToGo’ line which obviously blocking the way to the ToGo customers!

One of the Mom was busy chatting and not even concentrate on her daughter who is playing with the entrance door. Guess what a customer on her way to exit the restautant and ‘YES’ the little girl fingerer was zap. Gosh, l am not going to blame the customer who open the door as she can’t see the other side but l think this incident is absolutely not necessary.

Very weird was l notice the ToGo customer have a group of 6 and all queue up but only order 1 piece of ‘Cheesecake’ hmm very strange!
Gees, not sure are these people are retarted but why the simple manner they just don’t get it? Also, why the CheeseCake Factory’ management don’t have better plan for make it more organize!

I am glad our orders were good as usual otherwise I will be pissed.

What a privilege to watched Jimmy Buffett perform at Google main campus in person. Due to his performing schedule and he came by our campus in the morning. After the performance and our head chef do have special threat with ‘Margarita / Cheese Burger’ for all.

That’s what l am talking about and it will never too early for margarita because it’s 5 o’clock somewhere :))

Duck Pond at Palo Alto

As usual we woke up in the lazy weekend afternoon. My love drove me around for food but whoops we end up ‘Duck Pond’ at Palo Alto Bay lands. It was originally built as a swimming pool, then into a pond because of siltation issues.

The duck pond trail loops around .8 mile and l can see a variety of ducks, geese, gulls and migrating birds that make their way into the popular pond.
Gees, this is certainly a new exploration for me because I’ve been here in California for 7+ years now but never been this area before. Though I must says this is absolute nice area and also well-maintained.

This place is just perfect for picnic and a popular place for the old and young as they can enjoy some of the longer walks in the nearby area.

The Nightmare is over!

Thank God the nightmare is over and I will now begin to have back my leisure time. Though I must say I certainly enjoy the good sleep of 8hrs nightly and being no pressure.

Uhg the exam was hard but hey l tried my best that’s matter.

Cross the line

I normally don’t care much on politic however I found SLN cross the line by repeating imitated Sarah Palin. Come on! probably ‘Dems’ supporter may fell funny to watch the skit but l personally think SNL ran out of ideal. That’s also lead me to think that’s wasn’t a talent on this program but there are all CRAPP.

Tina Frey might be the winner of the Emmy Awards because of the ‘30 Rocks’ show but she is nothing compare to Sarah Palin because Sarah’s gorgeous looks are so unabeatable. Let’s hope Tina know what she’s is doing.

Dame I got so mad today as someone trying to play sabotage game to me. Well, Sabotage is deliberate action aimed at weakening enemy oppressor or employer through subversion, obstruction and destruction. I will take that is a low and incompetent individual who cannot deliberate his work well. That's why trying to take other credit. That's sux!

Though I seriously don't understand why people have that kind of behavior and simply go behind others back for their own credit and pride. It's happened to me today uhggot so mad when I caught the individual. I knew I suppose to pull him aside to clarify with him but I just blast out loud by asking him 'Why you do this? Why you go direct to my manager? Ha ha his answer was 'I, I don't know'!

Come on people! If I am the person who write the steps don't you think I must preserved my original! Am I stupid enough to forward you the soft copy before submit to management?

A September to remember

What a perfect phrase 'A September to remember' and it meant so much to me since I got married but this year is a special one. This is because many more things happened this year. Our Wedding Anniversary was a great and it certainly a highlight of my life. Thank you Jesus for your blessing!

Of course, who can forget on the 9/11 attacked. My thought and prayers to the victims family. Follow by funky market in September as Dow Jones dropped -500.00 points on 09/16, 09/17. Then follow by recovered +400.00 points the next day 09/18. Man who can predict what is going to happened next? It has been a painful ride for the trader like us.

The 'Stress' about my Oct exam drove me to throw out lately and have to says that each weekend and I got to stay in bed about 12hrs as constantly throw out. Gosh this is annoying eh but I cannot control it. I should have schedule appointment to meet with my doctor.

Traders bad day

Yea, it was a bda day for the traders like us as DJ down -500 point ouch! Gees my orb shown crazy red and portfolio stated down hills. However, please take my advice and do not panic but do take precausion. Of course, diversify the stock is the key and don't put eggs in a bucket.

Who can forget about 9/11? Yea it's 7 years now everyone especially who is in America still remember very clear what was happened in this year. However, there is no excuse for those twits who did that to us and there is no excusable.

It's our 5th Wedding Anniversary

Wow it has been 5 years already! Yep, time flies and I thought we are still in honey moon eh..

Though I still remember 5years ago today and I got a called from my love while his flight landing SFO. He asked me to take half day off then drove me to San Francisco City Hall to get married.
That's amazing and I seriously did not prepare anything though but l truly surprise and got a blast.

I am blessed to have this wonderful and caring person in my life. I feel very secure and safe since I met him. Thank you love for loving me.

Will leave work early today to celebrate our special day :))

I normally don't really care much about the politic matter. But I was thrilled to watch Sarah Palin acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention early tonight. She delivered a good 40mins strong speech and elegant.

I am confident that John McCain and his running mate will successfully win this election for good.

Team Building Event 2008

Our management organized a team building event at our boss resort which located at Los Altos. In deed he picked the right day for the event as it is a beautiful day with blue sky.

We made it there around 2.30pm and everyone has very good time there. Some of them are drinking, snack attacking and joking as well. Follow by games activities such as bocce ball, mini golfing, swiming and also spa.

We certainly has a great time but gees l got a very bad sun burnt as the weather temperature almost hit 3 digit high ouch! Even my sun protection spray with SPF 70 doesn't help.
I left there around 4.30pm as heading to SFO airport to pickup my love.

Common sense

What is the defination of common sense? Common Sense based on a terms consists of what people in common would agree on in natural understanding. However, it depends on an individual to sense, belief, experiences, knowledge, judgment if the act if is common sense. Not to be defiance even 4.0 grads fails to do this.

Though l must says most of the time l found people lacking of 'Common Sense'. That's bummer! Many time, people just got the wrong judgment or without thinking before act. Here are some experiences that l encounter lately...

1. A group of ten people line up for a piece of cheese cake where ONLY one person who really bought it. I was behind these twit.
2. Gupta drove with 35miles per hour on the left lane. Hello! this is America left lane means fast lane!
3. A lady changging lane from left to very right lane simply because she got her destination 'Whole Food' oh boy why can't she make a U turn or make her mind clear in the begining?
4. Calls during working hour with none business related!
5. Riding bike on the middle of the street?
6. Pedestrians chat on the middle of the street where l got green light to go on but waiting for the twit to chat for their important conversation! Come on...

Damn, l really wish people have more common sense + sense of humor.

Dealing with irrational fears!

That's right irrational fear means fears that not base on sensible or clear reasons. Yes, l do have an irrational fear and the two major that l afraid of were Policeman and must fill up the tank even u have half tank.

It happened to me when l was 5 years. Mom left me alone at home as she took sister's Evelyn to optical clinic. l was waiting for her to come home thus peeping for her return by door side. The nightmare began as l saw two policemen walk by with the hand cuff. Gees, l thought they are coming for me thus l cry so hard and loud makes my neighbor came by and comfort and took me to her house until mom return. I made me afraid of policeman until now.

Another irrational fear is l must fill up the tank in every weekend. I feel secure if l did this routing otherwise l will feel uneasy. However, on last weekend l consult my love if my quarter tank of my gas may last for another 2days in order to get the good price. My love said yes definately. Thus l will just put a try and this weekend l did not fill up my tank lol.

Well, l managed to overcome it today with the shacking moment. Just happened that today is Google Dance 2008 thus we are invited to join the event. Of course, lots of activities there such as dance, free gift away, foods, snacks, drink and so much more. I didn't eat although l am hungry. Honestly, l don't really enjoy the event as l am worry whther can l make it gas station thus asked my husband to standby although he got a con call. l am bad :((

I left the event around 7pm and trust me that distant just too long to get to gas station though. Along the way l notice police cars passing by and also ambulance. Gees, l got to watch out and quickly pull to the right as make room for them to pass by. Can you imagine that moment how nervours am l! Though l took my love advised to stay calm and finally l made it to gas station safe with a good price of 3.99 yay!

Yes, l did it. The key word is to 'Deal with it'.

Hainan Chicken Rice / 海南雞飯 and recipes...

For some reason I am craving for the Hainan Chicken Rice this weekend. And the only place to find it will be at the Southeast Asia Region Cuisine either Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand). Here's are the couple restaurant I knew in south bay there are Yellow Ginger at Mountain View, Benana Leaf, Penang Garden at Milpitas, Krung Thai, Sino at San Jose.

Thought I must says I still haven't get the right taste of 'Hainan Chicken Rice' here in America. The chicken must be very smooth when you bite it, the rice must be very tasty and the ginger + chili dipping source also must be blented well.

I can't wait for my next trip to Malaysia and to eat the real Hainan Chicken Rice and it costs and less then usd 1 wow...

In deed, eight is a symbol of luck and sign of prosperity in superficial world. Guess what today is the magic day with the date of 8th August 2008 wow! In fact, today is chosen on the opening of Beijing Olympic. I am sure many people will have special occassion will held today.

I used to be superficial but not anymore since l moved to States. Though l must says today work well for me because my orb is green in color, pay day and Friday. Bo Yah!

Seriously, is not OK to mess around others desk!

That's right that is NOT OK to mess around others desk unless the individual got mentally problems. Gees, I got so mad as I notice someone messed on my desk by moving around my personal items (Lava lamps, hand lotion, desk phone). And I knew the culprit who messed it because she always did it to others. Well I will not be quiet like other because this action MUST put a stop.

Thus I gave a piece of my mind to our team as they did not stop her while she did it and also her management. I am glad her two managers came by and apologize to me after they read my email. Perhaps this twit will change otherwise I will request to remove her from our building because we don't need a trash here.

Q time!

Everyone deserved the quality time especially after a long week at work and I am not an exception. Yes, in deed both of us work hard during week days and seriously we need our qtime to be more relax, enjoy our time together unfortunately the weekend end so quickly.

Good sense of humor

A good sense of humor plays an important role for each one of us. In fact, this category added on the questionaires on the profile. Genuine humor points out the weaknesses of humanity, but without contempt. It is a commentator of life, not a critic of it. Its purpose is to uplift, not tear down, and to lighten the burdens of others, not add to them. Good humor does not be little or promote stereotypes, for it springs from the heart, not the mind. It is a shock absorber that helps us get over the bumps in life. Those with a good sense of humor have a good sense of life.

Uhg l got frustrated this week as l ran into two seprate incidents and if these people have 'Good Sense of Humor' may prevent the matter!

1. I am surprised and shocked to read my IM chat on the email and it copied to everyone. Well, if the sender has good sense of humor and he shouldn't email our IM to all. Although, the IM chat are all work related but he should respect the IM privacy.
2. One of our vendor/Manager email to everyone and quote my name and claimed that he confirmed to me that l also have the same problem in login on the website. Of course, I got mad as l did not speak to him nor confirm anything to him at all. How could he claim that and copied to everyone! Thus l need some clarification with him and he told me that two members of our team told him that uhg...l am truly dealing moron...
   

==> If the invididual have trouble on log in and he/she should and could have to contact the company IT for assistance but not email to sales respresentative also the whole world to whine about. Duh!
==> He shouldn't quote my name if he did not personally talk to me?
==> My team members shouldn't tell him my name if he/she did not encounter the problems. Just that simple.

Bottom line don't say or tell if you don't experience the matter yourself. I think this is fair eh! Anyway, l did gave those moron a piece of my mind and advise them don't quote my name if he/she did not personal talk to me and asked him to direct to me if he need clarification. Seriously, I really hope people have better sense of humor.

Pool Party recovery

I am glad l finally recovered from the sick as too much fun at the Pool Party that we went yesterday. In deed, we had a good time at the party with the long time friends with chatting, drinking and of course good ribs. But l seriously don't enjoy the three digit weather temperature. We both apply sun protection with SPF 70 but both of us still got the painfull sun burn :((

Couple sort of vodka, apple and blueberry martini are just enough to makes me sick though. Well, unfortunately, our truck doesn't have spare bag thus my love got to pull aside for me to throw up. As soon as we reach home and took a quick shower then straight to bed. This is clear to me that l can't drink too much. I truly learned a good lesson.

Do / Don't on clothing

It is important we know how to dress up either to work or to any where! Of course, for those who work in huge corporation will need to be extra careful and be smart to pick and choose on their taste base on design, style or color and of course it must be comfortable.

I always admired Japanese & Korean and they always dress approperately and just neat. This is very important to give other a good impression trust me.

I attended meeting this afternoon and notice a lady who wear her shirt extremely tight and it looks like anytime will burst though. Not to be rude and it looks like over stuff sausage yuck! That's very ugly and l just wish people have more taste on how and what he/she wear.

Need better restaurants in South Bay.

That's true and we as south bay resident seriously need good and real restaurant over here. Gees most of the restaurant here just follow local demand and it just doesn't really go with the cuisine on their sign board shown. Ah this is very dissapoiting probably because people in Silicon Valley doesn't really care about the food but engineering staff instead.

Well, I don't care how much doesn't it costs and l want the real food please...

Dealing with incompetent twit!

I am driven to work and my goal is to execute the task with great result and makes our team look good. Of course, there is some expectation such as do it right and quick. However, my fellow co-worker felt the hit as they can't compete with me. Oh boy!

It happened to me this morning. Our New York branch employee pinged me for the updates on his shipment as soon as l get online. But with my helpful attitude and l try to look up the details for him unfortunately there aren't any updates show on our record. Thus I emailed our carrier for the updates. Well, this carrier responses to me included with the person who process the shipment. Well, this incompetent twit got mad as l interfere his file? Gees, what a shame for him to think that way and if we can't support our team and until when our team will shine! He refused to listen to my explaination though

But hey, l don't care because as long as l fulfilled our customer need with that means l achieved my goal and look good for my team too. Can't they just understand otherwise l would asked them to work harder rather then whining all day. Boo Hoo!

In fact, l received another compliment from another branch this morning and this makes them even more jealous.

Unique baby name.

In deed celebrities are often famous for giving their children unique names. From Sailoh to Suri and we just another new born today who name their daughter as Sunday Rose? Wow...l just wonder how those parent put the name together eh!

I personally think Emily is a beautiful name.

Fireworks

Fireworks indeed American's favorite because it is nice to watch to add on the celebration regardless on fourth of July or New Year Eve. I would say most of the city will have the firework at least for 30mins at the selected school field for public to enjoy the show. Honestly, we both did enjoy the show with hugs and kisses.

Though I thought it just a waste because the tax payer is paying for this and for the wonderful of 30mins and causing thousands of dollars and also paying overtime for police officer ah it just not worth it. How about use that money to do something better such as improve the road and etc?

Type of people.

There are many types of people that we may run into no matter where we go. The individual may be ego, generous, nosy, quiet, hard work, lazy, evil or even modest. Gees, it must be stressful especially at work place as need to face this people at least 40hrs a week by listen to their whining. Man, the best way is to stay away from them.

The magic of 1st July

1st of July indeed a special day and every part of the world have their unique occasion to celebrate with. From our very own United Stated got a new hands free law enacted today with may reduce unnecessary accident. Canadian celebrating their Independence's day, Hong Kong celebrating return back to China, UK memorial Princess Diana birthday day and for me celebrating my BD.

I am so happy to get the first wish from my love at mid night. Then when l get in at work the entire Book Search Partner Managers around the world (ASIAPAC, EMEA and US) wishing me Happy Birthday. Also, lots of emails from my fellow friends and radio stations, airlines for the greeting. Wow...what a blast!

Of course, I got home early to celebrate my special day as well hu la la...

Hot Summer.

Gees, this is extremely hot weather. The summer officially began yesterday and the temperature soar to 100 degrees for 2days in the role and how pain would that be! Thank God our air condition just got service check and work well to keep us stay in door. Ah nice and cold.

Of course, to remind everyone to drink more water to avoid dehydration. Also, ensure keeps pets in a good and comfortable area as well.

Who cares anyway!

I definately learned a good lesson on how to be more self control at work rather than over react anymore. It happened to me yesterday as my Director try to social and joke with me. While l am in the bad mood due to lacking team cooperation. He said 'Hi Eliza, why are you goofing around and do nothing there with a smile?' Ah that phrase just shock right through me and pissed me off. Thus l responses to him 'yea, yea l do nothing but goofing around and of course surfing net all day as well.'

Ah l feel so bad after l said that because l took it too personal and serious on that. With immediately l email him and says sorry to him. Knowing he shouldn't have such a joke to his employee. And glad to have his responses and quote 'Thanks Eliza for the feedback, water under the bridge.' I feel better eh! Oh well, It just a job and if the management don't care much and who am l to care for? This is another reminder that I don't belongs to this team as they are just sucks!

Well, this question can be related to anything in our daily life. But it really bothers me this afternoon when l saw my boss and a group of my team have a meeting at 'The Parking Lot' which exclude me. It just shock right through me when l am on my way to get my car. Of course, they are suprise to see me walking toward my car too.

At first, l felt very disturbed and dissapointed in the same time. But after talking to my guru AKA love and l got it. It just work and don't take it too serious if the manager doesn't.

Father's Day

I want to say and wish Happy Father's Day to the Dad around the world. The Father's Day this year for me is just emotional. Because I can't reach him through phone where I use to call and wish him nor able to send him a greeting card. This is because we lost him October 2007 on battling cancer. The ONLY thing is to cherrish our memory that we had. Man is hard but life go on but l am sure he is in better place now.

May God bless both of my dads and lead them to better place.

Tim Russert dies at 58.

A news icon Tim Russert who in covered political news, with his pain-spoken explanations and hard-hitting question has dies of sudden heart attack on Friday. Russert long time friend and physician, Dr. Michael Newman, said that he had asymptomic coronary artery disease that was controlled with medication and exercise and that he had performed well on a stress test in late April. An autopsy performed on the day of his death determined that his history of coronary artery disease lead to sudden cardiac death with the immediate cause being an occlusive coronary thrombus in the left anterior descending artery, resulting from a ruptured cholesterol plaque.

The Biggest Country show ever in Nothern California

That's right today is a special day in Northern California with biggest Country show and history in Fresh Country. Of course, with the glorious weather make the event even more successful.

This is a cool concert with Kenny Chesney the Super Star and recently won the 4th of The Entertainer Of The Year in CMT 43rd Award in May where held in Las Vegas.

The concert will be start at 4pm and held inside AT&T park in San Francisco together with Brook & Dunns, LeAnn Rimes, Garry Allan & Luke Bryan. However, the creative DJ's from 95.7 The Wolf also organized the party prior the concert which call 'Beach Ball Free For All'
The prior party will start from 10.30 to 2pm with Clay Walker, The Lost Trailer, The new band One Flew South and Quarterback Record Stephen Cochran to warm up everyone. Of course, just in time for the one who has the ticket to heading inside the AT&T Park. The organizer even coordinate with Caltrain to expanded additional three special trains after the concert. This is great!

Yep, the price for everything has been rise tremendously in our daily life latelyt especially Gasoline ouch! Just wish that the stock market and our employer did go to the same path for us eh.

ITunes with Streams/Internet radio

ITunes 7 is now tagging tracks played on its digital radio stations. The goal is to help listeners to tag it follow by buy the music through ITune Store with just a click. Though I am NOT crazy about the tagging nor purchase any HD Radio receiver. But I am just amaze and enjoy listening my favorite FM or AM radio stations through ITunes.

Gees, this is great for all parties as for Radio Station and ITunes they will able to sell the music and publication. However, as for listener like me and l will able to enjoy the music with easy access and purchase as well. Somewhat I would say APPLE has picked a winner with this one.

Probably, I am out dated as I did not aware about this service until last week. But I am please to know this now. I normally listen to music at work either through online radio, ITunes or nano iPod. Sometime last week l notice there is an option on my ITunes library with 'Radio' with many selections of the choice from Blues to Rock. I am sure with this I may listen to internet radio with better sounding streams with no static and this is well known in ITunes.

Though I must says although I listen to music while I am working but I am still very focus on what I do. Of course, I skip music while I am in the meeting or training session.

Although, radio may be a bit of an older media compare to the gadget such as iPod but again it still has plenty of listeners. I for one rarely use my nano iPod while I am driving.

The greatest asset of our life is health.

Gees, I am shocked to learned that two unfortunate cases this week. One of them was my co-worker's son death in sudden at the age of 45years old. And another co-worker who in his first doctor visit after 25years learned that he got bladder stone. Of course, will need to have procedure.

Everyone is well aware about the important of health but we just lack in taking care of it or with don't care attitude. That's ashame though

There is no doubt 'HEALTH' is our greatest asset in life regardless you are poor, rich, pretty or ugly. It ain't matter! Is all depends of the eating habit and the balacing of the nutrition. Of course, to have annual routing doctor check up to ensure the enough of vitamins, calories, proteins, carbohydrates & chalesterol. Also, able to detect the early stage of illness from progress further.

I really hope people will take more serious on their health especially who live in the third world country to have the practice of get yearly routing doctor check up. I began the routing check up since l moved here in America and luckily I am in good health.

Many people might says MONEY is the most important in our life. But though I would says wellness is the greatest asset in our life. Just think if health doesn't permit and there is no point to have plenty of money if you can't fully enjoy it.

Hands-free law & teen driver cell phone ban!

Hmm what is that on his/her ear? Yeah we begin to see many style, shape and size on head set, This is because people begin to follow the new law to avoid the 'fine'!

That's right with effective July 1st 2008 Hands-free driving laws are being enacted all over the United States. One of the laws (SB1613) allows driver to use a cell-phone if tgere is a hands-free device used. The other California driving law is Senate 33 (SB33). Senate Bill 33 bands drivers under age of 18 from using cell phone.
SB 1613 will:-

• Prohibit the use of cell phones by drivers unless the drives is using a hands-free device starting July 1st, 2008.
• Allow drivers of commercial vehicles to use push-to-talk phone until July 1st, 2011.
• Allow drivers to make emergency phone calls without using a hands-free device.
• Allow drivers of emergency response vehicles to use cell phone without hands-free device.
• Prescribes that conviction is punishable by a base fine if $20 for each subsequent offenses.
  

I am so glad that this law being enacted and hopefully it works and to reduce accident. And people may concentrate on their driving by not allowing the gap of 100 feet away the front car simply because of not focusing.

May '08 Disaster.

There are too many ugly incidents happened in May '08 around the globe. Sadly, it took away many innocent life regardless old and young. Let's take a moment and pray for them who is experiencing this disaster. And Thanks God that we are safe and sounds.

1. 05/05: Yangon, Myanmar - A powerful hit Yangon by cyclone killed more than 350 people and destroyed thousands homes.
2. 05/12: Sichuan, China - 7.9 magnitude earthquake hit Sichuan on the busy afternoon. And causing more the 12,000 death and also 18,000 missing.
3. 05/22: California, USA - Decades of down trees and leaf litter accumulated amid dried out brush and thick stands of forest have made the western slopes of the Santa Cruz Mountain ripe of burning. This wildfire in recent Santa Cruz history which started early 05/22 and had spread to about 3,200 acres by evening. Luckily NO life involved! Thank God.

With the above I am grateful to be safe and cozy at home to enjoy the things that I have. And the thought crosses my mind if tomorow never come! Will my family & my love know how much I love them? Did I try in every way to show them every day that I love them! Because I've lost loved ones in my life Who never knew how much I loved him, Now I live with the regret.

The danger of SMOKING.

Smoking is one of the worst things to kids or adults can do to their bodies. And yet every single day about 5,000 kids between the ages 12 and 17 start smooking. There's more than just one simple answer. Of course, the ugly side will lead to something dangerous to drugs and so much more - something grownups don't want them to do. Still others might know lots of people who smoke and they might think it's away to act and look like an adult where that call COOL/KOOL or relief for adults.

But sometimes kids can't really think that far into the future to worry about an illness they might not get for many years. Same goes to adult they might not think about future but now.

People should know by now SMOKING and tobacco use can cause cancer and heart disease. And I lost my dad last year on the killer cancer disease. The suffered that he been through just unspeakable.

Smoking habit may cause below:-

• bad breath - stink!
• yellow teeth - yike!
• smelly colthes - yuck!
• more colds and coughs - uhg!
• empty wallet as cigarettes & tobacco products are very expensive!

Is a hot hot summer :((

Yeah, that's right is a hot hot summer! The weather temperature has been soared here in California for the past three days. I wish it will chill down soon seriously l hate the sun burn and that drives me nuts.

Just Wrong!

It certainly drives me to the edge when l heard and thought about her. A divorcee with a child who tried her very best to get into my family simply because of our family business and money! of course, there is no matter that people deserve to have their second chance. But she is extremely over board by using her trashy way to get what she wants.

A low class personal will do their best to influent and work her way out in order for her wish. Her first step is to get herself pregnant so that she may official married into our family. Unfortunately, my loser brother's are still in the dark and living in his fantasy world. Gees, the brother that l adored thus far is gone.

We are just medium range family in Penang though but we do have a house where eveyone is chipping in and built a house. Of couse, the family business where will go to the latest generation. (Well, this is Chinese crap where l disagree with) They can see now how their ONLY son treated them.

This ugly couple has been rule the house and suck up lots of $ and even dishonest about the total of the donation they we collected before Dad's funeral. Though my sister and I secretly got the actual total and this is how we knew.

In additional, they don't treat and respect mom well and even cut down mom allowance and give her no control at all. That's very sad! Besides, they don't seems welcome my sister family visiting and even remove her wedding picture from the wall by replacing their son picture! So, what's next and when shall they realize their wrong doing?

I will never tolerate this kind of behavior in our family and it just wrong!

Be REAL please?

I truly think we are lucky to live in this world with full of excitement to learn something new everyday regardless happy or sad and accepting the fact for being rich or poor.

Each one of us began with pure and innocent on the circle of life. To walk to run then to school and pursue a carrier to be a successfull individual follow by raise a family. But sometime due to the ego behavior people will just do anything to overcome their situation. Simply to makes himself/herself in better place compare to others.

There are so many incident that I witness with but these three that l thought were extremely annoyed:-

1. To drive BMW and the individual can't even afford to raise his family.
2. To travel around and she can't even afford to support herself.
3. To keep herself quiet for years and can't even speak out for her right.
   

Seriously, I just don't understand why people act like this and I bet it must be very tired and exhausted for not being yourself to cover thing up that way.

Well people, Life is just too short and why don't you get real and live peacefully and be yourself eh?

Mother's Day

It was one of the common phrase from mom who love to say 'I told you so' to her kids. To care and to love and Mom who play the huge role in family. Some parts of the world already celebrate Mother's Day. However, American mom will celebrate tomorrow.

I personally think we should honor and respect Mom daily. The Mother's Day celebration is just a day that retailer making their income. Though is a good thing to celebrate in this occasion. I am glad that mom received our greeting card 2days ago. This year will be different for her as Dad passed away last October. No matter what we need support and love her.

Again, I want to wish Happy Mother's Day to the mom around the world and I am very proud of you :))

I have absolute no experience for being mom but l bet you it must be tough one. But l wish l will be mom one day to get myself busier rather than the routing work and school.

Cologne

It's amazing that a little spray of the cologne and it makes an individual very refreshing and classy! Though l must says 'DO NOT' spray too much as it will bring the opposite result.

Gees, l got a bad experience in this week, This is because an individual who over spray the cologne and each time he walk by my work place ah that stinky smell just drive me nuts. There is no doubt that choosing the right cologne and how to apply in deed required technique and taste.

For some reasons and I am driven to work. All the task that l work on will executed perfectly and even wow others. Sadly, my management doesn't seems to notice this. In additional, they doesn't consider me as the canidate for the new position though. I just can't afford the dissappoitments anymore.

It's about time just to stay away from these folks but pursue the better working environment. I am so tired and sick to listen to their daily family crap + whining. Just wonder why Pricess Pinky AKA Mrs. Scott will need to deal with this?

Gees, I don't care whether the individual has 4.0 but he/she shouldn't be obnoxious like this. Again, I want to says shame on you.

I pinged the individual this morning to clarify on her pick up order whether the boxes are on the pallet! Guess what is the responses quote 'If you can't do it and I will hire my own trucker' wow! what kind of answer and may l asked which University thought you to behave like that?

There is no doubt this individual is rich in education or on what ever he/she is doing but seems so poor to react this way.

Comedy Show

If anyone ask me which favorite comedy show that I like the most and 'whose line is it anyway?' will be my pick. Gees, I just love the show and it keep both of us laugh to the maximum. These talented comedian includes Wayne Brady, Colin Mochrie, Ryan Stiles and also the host Drew Carey are just great on the show. It just great.

Great Weekend!

After the long week of hard study, work and is about time to enjoy the weekend to the most. Having able to wake up late by not rushing to work which is another relaxing moment for us.

Of course, our quality time even sweeter with the lovely chocolate chip pancake & French stuffs toast with blueberry topping to begin with. Then follow by sipping wine after dinner by listening to great piece of music from the talented Russia pianist Evegeny Kissin ah that what I am talking about great weekend.

Ticks me off

It just ticks me off when I notice the task that I released yesterday at 3.30pm for our team to work on and no one is working on until this afternoon and I took it back form the tray and completed it myself. And it happended to me this morning as I released a task @ 8.41am and NO ONE notice it until l took it back and processed.

Well, I find hard to believe as there are 2bodies there where they have time to IM each other then laugh and walk around but what the heck they can't just complete the simple task?

Seriously, it ticks me off when I notice people who:-

• Lazy
• Talk too much / Whining
• Irresponsible
• Not smart
• Dirty / Smelly

He is so far and yet so close.

I can't believe that I woke up before 9am on Saturday! That's right because my personal heater is on his business trip. Unfortunately, we are 10hrs apart but one thing for sure his daily updates will keep me comfort an smile :)) Thanks love.

He is my hero, my lovely Pinky pie, he's everything that I ever wanted and everything I need. Honestly, I can talk about him; I will go on and on and on because he's everything to me.

Lame!

My oh mine! I got a good laugh when l read the email this morning from the individual who included everyone in our building and she is asking if anyone seen her coffee mug! Wow.. I believe he coffee mug must have been the sentimental value for her but what I don't understand was why she left the mug at the kitchen where everyone may access? The mail thread keep on and on as one of her team member is replying and joking around.

I remembered she also put a comment to the chef sometime last month and she included everyone in the building as well. Hmm is she out off her mind to being idiot like this or is this the way to get attention!

Well, I am using Starbuck mug and each week I am using the different one as my love has the collection around the world. However l don't have this problem eh

Gees, I am not sure is she aware that there are many big wig and VP's in our building who also read their messages. Yuck! this is lame!

Ego and self respect?

Wow a very simple question and yet complicated. That's right the ego and self respect are the two main behaviors that important to whom who wish to leave peacefully in this world. There are ego and self respect. Ego is how great the individual think he/she is. And the individual always in the middle which is dangerous. Self respect is having an earned positive feeling about oneself. Also the individual thought that how great he/she is.

Sadly, we can simply notice people surrounded us with these behaviors regardless what age. Of course, I will label them as 'incompetence and low'.

Well, I don't like to join with these people and the best way is to stay away from them to avoid the conflict. Or just answer the question in very general manner and STAY AWAY from them.

It's alright and it's OK!

It's has been a wild ride for me since I signed up for the CBL exam in mid January '08. With the full time work and evening classes and it is hard for me to ready for the exam in April for this additional course. Because woke up 3am on the weekdays it just killing me especially I will have to take sleeping pills at night to sleep and in order to wake up early. That's lead me to think am I going to die because of OD!

Hmm why am I doing this? How long will I stay in this field! Hence I decided to withdraw myself from the exam and focus on computer classes instead. I've learned DataBase Access and Dream Weaver. Next will be Linux. I am not proud of the decision that I made to withraw in the last minutes but hey it's alright and it's OK because this is my choice.

But for the grace of God

My co-worker came in around noon as he attended his family court today. He started to chat with another team member who happended in the same situation about their divorce ordeal. Hmm I don't mean to listen in but seriously their chatting is just too loud. Well, I feels sad for them as they have gone thru the ugly and messy life yuck.

Silently, I say a little prayer Yes I do! but for the grace of the God and I must have been born lucky as I have been blessed with the gift of TRUE LOVE. Though I must says respect and understanding between spouse are the important elements in married life.

April Fool's Day

People always joke around regardless where they are however today the individual will go extreme. This is simply because today is 'April Fool's Day'! Hmm unfortunately, it just not my cup of tea oh well...

Ba-da Bing, Ba-da Boom! that's Italian cuisine

As usual we woke up in the lazy afternoon and we both are craving for food. Whoops we end up in Fremont, too bad no luck for Claim Jumper as full house. Thus we decided to Carino's Italian Grill instead.


The atmosphere is very cozy and nice especially with the friendly waitress. We were place at the nice spot then follow by a loaf of rosemary bread with good quality of olive oil and garlic. Gees, we loved the bread and the menu looks good too. My love ordered combo plate which includes their signature lasagna, parmesan chicken and pasta with marinara sauce. I chose 'Fire Shrimp pasta' with fresh shrimp, green bell pepper and garlic creamy sauce.


It was a very satifying meal and it's all worth it. Not forgetting the big portion too and that lead us to have no room for dessert although I will never miss dessert out on our meal.

M.Y.O.B.

People often spent too much time and energy to dig others business in regards of work matters or personal issues. Some of them even volunteer to tell me their issues. Hmm do I cares! Gees, I just don't understand why? And that's lead me to think aren't have something else to do!

I am the person who do not like to talk much especially in the morning but concentrate on what I do. Unfortunately, teases and talks will constantly hits me and that drives me nuts ugh.

Seriously, I do not mind to share with the individual in regards of what I had for dinner last night if I know them well. But I still wish people may just 'MYOB' and leave me alone please.

Easter 2008

Yes, Easter is a beautiful thing as the almighty God is raised! We should always remember and thankful as we are exist. Easter celebration is a very meaingful for me especially since I found my love.

The magic of him just makes me be better than I was and more than I am. Of course, I am stronger than ever + happy and free.

Also, the rabbit just adorable as is it and it will be me whenever he travel for business ah that nice.

It's Spring

Birds singing, cows mooing and you can see more Juan and Jose standing on the street and ready to do any backyard work. Oh yes, the spring began 2days ago. What that means is we can see the lovely colorful flowers in our garden and we might listen to some folk begin sneeze and cough as allergy attack or for whatever reasons might be. But I do hope they manage to cover their mouth when they sneezing or coughing though

In spring weather I don't need to wear jacket however I do need my music 'iPod Nano' with me. Thus lead me to think about hats and I found it at Google Search with the url http://www.nano-caps.com.

Loved the design, color and especially it has velcro closures inside the hat band to keep the headphone cables tucked away. It's just perfect for me with this convenience feature. Of course, with the reasonable price and quick delivery too.

I am so glad and lucky as My Love is always there to clear off the dust for me. Thank you and you are loved.

It's has been 5 years already!

Wow it's has been 5 years that I know him! That's right 5 years today it was my first date with very successful gentlement who name is Rob Scott. He is kind enough to drive all the way from South Bay to San Francisco to meet with me. The moment I opened the door and I saw a very handsome gentlemen with his sparkling blue eyes in black jacket. I just do not know how to describe but I am seeing him is my 'Mr. Right'. He even looks around my in-law apartment although it's small though...

Then we walk along the Ocean Beach and took some pictures as well then we have lunch at Rain Forest. The more I communicate with him and the more butterflies flying on my stomach. He is a wonderful and easy to connect individual.

I am so glad that we met and he is not ONLY my best friend, mentor but the love of my life. My world begins brighter and meaningful since I know him and 15th March means a lot to me.

Thank you Jesus for sending the true love to me.

I can't get enough to encourage people surrounded me to get started to write the 'BLOG' but wasn't successful. Blog is another element for individual to documented the details regardless good or bad time. I personally think it is a great practice for us to exercise blog especially we can look back or share with others our experiences. As of December 2007, there are total of 112 million blogs are published.

So what is 'Blog' and why so many of us begin blogging! Anyway, blog is a website where entries are commonly displayed in reverse chronological order. "Blog" can also be also as a verb, meaning to maintain or add content to a blog. Many blogs provide commentary or news on a particulars subject or others function as more personal online diaries. A typical blog combine text, images and links to other blogs, web pages, and media related to its topic. The ability for readers to leave a comment in an interactive format part of many blogs.

To Whom that have not started blogging and I am strongly encourage you to do so. Come on we are in 21st century now...

Shit Floats

It's about 1.10pm and we were call in for an emergency meeting on our team 'reorganization'. And I sat on the beans bag by listening to announcement that one of the salary's position personal will handle 75% of the management duty. Well, I will not count on it because he can't even handle his daily task and how could he handle the ADDITIONAL 75% task? (hmm Winner at a losing game!)

Sadly, I will be joining the new hire to work as the regular activities and also participate the 'Order Desk' that management suggested. Honestly, I don't see that is a good systems but hey who am I to oppossed it though

Alright and enough is enough! I guess is about time to move on. Although, I love to work in Google Land but I just can't wasting my time here anymore. However, two words can describe and there are 'shit floats' Oh well, who cares

Pregnancy

I went to my routing doctor appointment yesterday for annual check up. Well, I planned well this time as I leave work early to avoid the traffic rush. Not too bad to gain two pounds in a year especially in Google land.

Then my doctor asked me 'Are you planning to have kid' and that's lead me to think wow is about time to make decision rather then using Ortho Evra. I am sure our life will be change tremendously if we decided to have it. But again, it is a beautiful thing and especially with the miracle pregnancy period and to welcome our junior in this world.

I seriously wish our baby will have blue eyes and blond.

Spring Forward

Yep, is that time of year to forward the clock one hour ahead AKA 'Spring Forward' and it begins this early morning @ 2am. With that mean we will lost one hour sleep due to the change. However, with the advance technologies and we do not have to manually adjust our computer laptop or cell because it automatic adjusts through network.

In general, I truly like The Day Light Saving because the day is getting longer than night and I will have more time to accomplish my both work and studies. That's a good thing.

Dim Sum alone just not fun :((

I took a break from study and pickup food from Dynasty Restaurant as I am craving for Dim Sum. Hmm for some reason the food doesn't taste good although I am hungry. Then I pause and realize that dim sum alone just not fun and in additional it ruin my appetite. Oh well,

Agrees or Disagrees

That's right the phrase 'Agrees or Disagrees' can be happended anytime in anywhere or even with any matter. Of course, I am looking for the positive 'agrees' but again it doesn't happended to me today. Because my management have their methodology on how to operate their business. What can I says! Let's see how the shit float.

I miss you love!

It's about 9.52pm now and I am still sitting on the massage couch to relax myself while watching TV after a long day at work and school. But I feels extremely empty and exhausted because my love wasn't home as he is still on his business trip. Yes, I've begin to miss My Lovely Pinky pie especially his warm hug, passionate kiss and the tuck into bed at night. Because with the phone calls, SMS and emails just doesn't makes me feel the same. That's why I can't wait for his return :))

Writing Skill

Writing skills is very important asset for each one of us and especially to those is working and engage with corresponding to others. From the writing it may represent the quality of the personal and so for. Especially for the foreigner like me where English is my second language. And I would need to be very careful when I am writing and reading because it will lead to wrong interpretation otherwise.

Though I must says I am very lucky to have those professional from home, school and work to help me on my writing. Of course, the best still will be My Lovely Pinky. He is just awesome!

Last Friday, another professional from work who volunteer to help me on my grammar and he is so nice to call me in his office. And he asked me if he can correct my grammar. Even this morning he point out my grammar problems when no one around me. I will definitely take this great opportunity to learn it all.

Does web rating on restaurant real?

I doubt it.

If you are craving for particular food then you will have to go to 'The Cuisine' where there have their specialties to prepare the meal for statisfaction.

It was the top rating between 8 - 9.5 out of total 10 point for this Malaysian Cuisine. But after we had dinner there I would rate it as 5 at the most. It wasn't our first time there though and I remembered the first time it doesn't give us the wow. Well, after a year because of the top rating on the web thus we went back there hmm it still the same with no wow factor to us.

Here are some of the examples:-

1. Roti Chanai ==> Tough like rubber band
2. Rendang Chicken ==> Tasteless
3. Pandan Chicken ==> Dry, Hard & Salty
   

It aslo leads me to think that does web rating real or the restaurant just follow the local demand? I would says Singaporean/Straits Cafe can cook better Malaysian meal for sure.

Also, It just funny to see the waitress wearing the Malaysian attire 'Sarung' along with tennis shoes! ahhggg

Expectation!

The word expectation is BOLD and HUGE. The individual can be very successful or vice versa because of ‘expectation’. And it depends on their goal on how they plan. Of course, I am talking about the good concept of expectation is to improve for better situation.

No doubt, it will be a challenge (change & stress) if you have decided for certain expectation prospective. But I can bet you that it will come down to the point of worth it. This also includes to have the never give up attitude.

Examples:-

• If you own a house in Cupertino & Los Altos Hill doesn’t mean you should stop working and spend it all you have
• If you have $100,000.00 in your bank account doesn’t mean you have to stop saving
• No matter what age there is excuse to stop learning

Sitting in the conference room listen to the twit who raise up the same topic that NOT important at all for entire session. I just do not sure nor understand why this kind of personality can be found in Google land.

Country Music YeeHa!

Gees, I can’t believe I like the ‘Country Music’ though. Actually, it's begins with I accidentally found the country music radio station last December while I am on my way home from work. After listened to a few songs and I found country music wasn’t too whining. Of course, The Eagles will be the main reasons that lure me into this type of music.

However, there are talented artists in this field as well such as Rascal Flatts, Toby Keith, Trisha Yearwood and so much more. With that says my iPod nano has the list of the country musics as well. YeeHa!

Valentine's Day

The lovers around the world are celebrating the special day. Some of the couple even plan to get married in this day. Of course, florist, restaurant and most of the retail stors are making lots of profit in this day as well.

I am so looking forward today knowing that my love wasn’t travelling. I baked a puff pastry with love shape with smooth Dove dark chocolate inside as our appetizer. My sweetie gave me a passionate kiss with the loving bear and very special card and message. He is the love of my life and I love him from my bottom of my heart.

The First and The Last

I normally do not simply join others for lunch especially with evil Chinese. However, I accepted her invatation since I deal most of the work related matter with her. Gees, she not ONLY tried to dig things about my organization and also my personal life. Oh well, Miss Mary there are so many way to dig info from others but I guess you just came to the wrong path especially dig info from me! From here and I can throughly see you ain’t smart eh

Happy Chinese Lunar New Year 新年快樂

Chinesae people around the world are celebrating Chinese Lunar New Year today. The year of ‘Rat’ and it’s implying that people will be work harder and always busily pursuing a personal goal or ambition in this year.

Chinese New Year starts with the new moon on the first day of the New Year and ends on full moon 15days later. The 15th day of the New Year is called Lantern Festival, which is celebrated at night lantern displaus and children carrying lanterns in a parade.

The Chinese calendar is based on a combination of lunar and solar movements. The Lunar cycle is about 29.5days. In order to ‘catch up’ with the solar calendar the Chinese insert an extra month once every few years (seven years our of a 19-years). This is the same as adding an extra day on leap year. This is why according to the solar calendar, the Chinese New Year falls on a different date each year.

New Year Eve and New Year’s day are celebrated as a family affair, a time of reunion and thanksgiving. The celebrations was traditionally highlighted with a religious ceremony given in honor Heaven and Earth, the Gods of household and family ancestors.

The sacrifice to the ancestors, the most vital of all the rituals, united the living members with those who had passed away. Departed relatives are remembered with great respect because they were responsible for laying the foundataion for the fortune and glory of the family.

The presence of the ancestors is acknowledged on New Year’s Eve with a dinner arranged for them at the family banquet table. The spiritis of the ancestors , together with the living, celebrate the onset of the New Year as one great community. The communal feast called ’surrouding the stove’ it symblolizes family unity and honors the past present generations.
